Sara Folger

Mathematics Instructor

 

Sara started her time at Beacon in 2017 after years of teaching in Chicago and New York City. Her love of math can only be matched by her enthusiasm for musicals, Ultimate Frisbee, and Spirit Week. When not teaching, Sara can be found working with students on math, exercising with whomever will engage in a plank hold challenge, or helping students navigate the tricky waters of growing up and being a teenager. Sara has been an advisor of both Pride Club and Nail Art Club, has helped with Beacon Academy musicals, and participated in faculty vs student sports whenever possible (even if she is a horrible athlete). It is with joy and compassion that Sara approaches each day at Beacon Academy.
