Emmi Hilger

Arts & Mathematics Instructor

 

Emmi is the founder and Producing Artistic Director of Something Marvelous, a Chicago-based theatre company dedicated to producing new works of magical realism. Emmi is also an Artistic Associate with Chicago Dramatists and has directed productions for Concordia University, Lifeline Theatre, Pegasus Theatre, Ensemble Dal Niente, The Jades, Three Cat Productions, 20% Theatre Company, and Stage Left Theatre Company. She has worked extensively on new plays and is excited to offer students opportunities to collaboratively explore all sides of theatre. Prior to joining Beacon Academy, Emmi worked as a teaching artist and an early childhood educator with the Jewish Community Center of Chicago. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University.
