Danny Rudnick

Science Instructor

 

Danny Rudnick has been with Beacon Academy since 2015 (its second year). Prior to working at Beacon Academy, Danny taught Honors Chemistry and Integrated Physical Science at Elgin High School, and taught Adolescent Science and Math at Near North Montessori School in Chicago. He earned his Master of Science in Chemistry Education from Illinois State University ('21), his Bachelor of Science in Teaching of Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign ('10), and his Montessori Certificate from the AMI Montessori Orientation to Adolescent Studies ('13). Outside of teaching, Danny is an award-winning professional magician, performing often at the Chicago Magic Lounge and monthly for kids at the University of Chicago Children's Hospital.
