Henry Henderson - Front Desk & Attendance Coordinator
Henry Henderson is a native of Chicago’s Avalon Park neighborhood. After graduating with a BA from Columbia College Chicago, he embarked on a 15-year career in radio-TV with local stops at WGN Radio to produce Chicago Cubs and Bears games and working on the first staff at The Score Sportsradio. Moving east, Henry became director of research/planning for ABC News Radio and was later promoted to executive producer of the ESPN Radio Network where he also was a contributing producer for ESPN-TV’s SportsCenter. Leaving broadcasting to work in education, Henry has worked at several schools around a basketball coaching career, including a stint as an assistant coach at the University of Detroit Mercy. He is currently the athletic director, girl’s basketball and softball coach at Northside College Prep in Chicago. Henry holds post-graduate certificates in baseball analytics from Harvard University (edX) and Sports Management Essentials from Columbia University in New York. Henry currently lives in Evanston with his wife and three daughters.
