DIVERSE STUDENT BODY
Beacon serves more than 200 students from all over the Chicagoland area who possess a passion for independent learning and a deep commitment to engaging in the real world. Our students come from more than 50 zip codes and 75 feeder schools, represent every major religion and close to 20 different home languages, and reflect a learning community that is both ethnically and socio-economically diverse. At Beacon, every
9th grade student is new to the school and many come in not knowing anyone else, providing a unique opportunity for freshmen to reinvent who they are and reimagine who they want to be.
