ACADEMICS
Beacon students have the opportunity to explore
their own interests and passions within the context
of a robust curriculum delivered by committed,
caring faculty members. Our curriculum is designed
to provide a broad base of knowledge while also allowing room for students to dive deeper and follow a path that is self-designed. In 9th and 10th
grade, special attention is placed on developing organizational and goal setting skills. In 11th and
12th grade, these skills are refined, and all of our students are prepared to tackle the rigor of college. More importantly, given the freedom and opportunity to shape their own education, Beacon students experience a deep level of engagement in their learning that prepares them to navigate the real world with a sense of purpose.
