Q: What program or class have you participated in that made you look at things differently?
A: This summer, I joined an Elon University program in New York City. For two months, I interned and lived amidst a diverse group of peers in a New York University dorm on the bustling corner of 3rd Avenue and 14th Street. The process of securing an internship in a competitive environment taught me resilience. Living in NYC provided a crash course in true independence, similar to my early days at college but amplified by professional commitments. The experience highlighted the importance of hands-on work and personal growth. I'm grateful to Elon and excited for my next journey: studying in London!
Q: Will this impact the path that you take after graduation?
A: Absolutely, this experience will be pivotal for my post-graduation path. Beyond the classroom knowledge from college, this real-world exposure highlighted my ability to navigate challenges.
