The Arts

 

The arts curriculum is intended not only to facilitate artistic expression but also to allow students the freedom for personal expression, reflection, and exploration. All students participate in the arts at Beacon, specifically visual arts, music studio, choir, and theatre. Students are able to select which arts classes they participate in and can choose to stay with same course over multiple years (basic through advanced) or survey several different classes. Students will focus on the history and cultural impact of the medium as well as actively participate in the art form itself and display and/or perform their works.
