Kennen Hutchison

Kennen Hutchison is an internationally recognized scientist and educator. Classically trained as a microbiologist, he has a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Western Illinois University and an Master of Science in Biomedical Research from Northwestern University. In addition to teaching IB Biology and IB Mathematics at Beacon Academy, Kennen is a Ph.D. student at Northwestern University where he studies Cognitive Psychology and Educational Design in the Learning Sciences Ph.D. Program. When not teaching or studying, Kennen can be found working as a science communicator through various media outlets including MTV News, The King of Random, and his own self-produced show Science with Kennen.
